The primary purpose of these concrete blocks is generally to protect against unauthorised entry or control the flow of traffic. These solid concrete blocks slot seamlessly next to each other and weigh in at over 1000kg each, this makes them ideal as a safety preventative measure at public events, car parks and building sites.
One example is at the tremendously popular Hull Fair, which brings together 100’s of rides and stalls near Hull’s MKM Stadium and blocks a whole street off to cater for the 1000’s of visitors that come for the thrills and most of all, the food! With an event of this scale, we were brought into secure either end of the street to give everyone the freedom and comfort to safely walk down the closed street, the concrete blocks closed both ends of the street off to facilitate this perfectly.
The blocks can also be used for parking management and site boundary protection. Because of the size of the blocks, we bring them in and set the concrete blocks in place straight off the back of our flatbed wagon.
